We would like to say Mesi Anpil (Thank you very much) to Cody Black, his family and Deerwood Elementary for all their support of our cause. Cody presented the organization with more than $2500 after 1 week of fundraising at his elementary school. What can you do to help us build a school?

I have heard that several people want to donate as part of the fundraising that Cody Black (a 5th Grader at Deerwood Elementary) is doing so that he will get credit for the money he raises. LOCAL FIFTH GRADER RAISES FUNDS TO BUILD NEW SCHOOL IN HAITI
KINGWOOD, TEXAS: Cody Black, a fifth grade student at Deerwood Elementary School is spearheading a fund raiser, encouraging his fellow students to help build a new school in Haiti through the Endeavor to Develop Education (http://www.edehaiti.org).

Endeavor to Develop Education is a non-profit organization, established in 2006, dedicated to providing an education to impoverished Haitian children. Endeavor to Develop Education provides students with tuition, books, and uniforms, and will help to rebuild the schools in Haiti.

Students at Deerwood Elementary School will be donating their spare change the week of February 9th. On Friday, February 12th the community is invited to CiCi’s Pizza, 1267 Kingwood Drive, for dinner from 5-9pm. CiCi’s will donate a portion of the proceeds towards the relief effort.
