Today, while listening to Radio Caraibes (Haitian Radio station), I heard that they expected to find (after all the schools had been examined for structural damage) that 80% of the 5000 schools in Haiti were damaged. I do not know who said this because I was not paying attention at the beginning of the interview. The speaker also mentioned that there are an estimated 3.8 million school students in Haiti. This just reminds us of how important it is to build/rebuild schools in Haiti.
